About Us

Hi, I’m Jeff! Welcome to my manifestation–the world of PANTHEON.

I started street skateboarding at 12 years old in Indianapolis. A couple years in, I was getting injured a lot from falls while also trying to run cross country and track competitively, and it was hurting my ability to train. Had I been riding soft wheels on a longboard during this time, I probably would’ve never quit, but I don’t even know if longboards were a thing during this time. Later in college, I picked it back up when I purchased my first longboard and used it to commute from my apartment to school a couple miles every day, and then I would often go skate down the local neighborhood hills in Nashville, Tennessee in the evenings. I was having a ball, and when I came back to Indianapolis a couple years later in 2009, the concept of Pantheon Longboards began to take form in my mind as skating started becoming an ever-present part of my life.

I moved to New York City in 2011 with dreams of skateboarding every day, working in the city, and hopefully working for a skateboard company. My dreams of working for a skate company came true when I started working for a wicked $10 an hour in the shipping department of a local brand. Mostly, I survived on bagels during this time, but I was learning a ton and making a name for myself as “the bushing and truck angles guy” who could set your board up right. This quickly earned me a spot managing a new skate shop, designing and making prototype boards in the basement and then eventually working as a full time board designer and marketing manager, all the while competing on the world stage as a distance skateboarding athlete.

A couple years later, my creative juices were in full force, and I really found a burning desire to create new products and not only have control over the shapes, but also the graphics and the message of the products. I wasn’t satisfied with simply branding a skateboard–what a waste of a perfectly good canvas and space to touch people on a personal level! And as it turned out, the only way to really make this happen and to say what I wanted to say was to do it myself, and this is how Pantheon Longboards began. I was ready, and with a new baby in my life, I was more motivated to make this thing work than ever. Years later now, our passion for creating and inspiring continues as PANTHEON has quickly grown to a world-wide skate company.

Our mission is simple: Equip humans with inspiring outdoor adventure products, created with love and an appreciation of our interconnectedness, to resonate action and make a positive impact on our environment and fellow beings. We are committed to maximize the value of inputs, to the conservation of materials, eco-sustainable design, and conveying a message and purpose through our brand.

It is a straight forward concept, and our dedication toward this has been working well so far! PANTHEON is healthy and growing sustainably, even in times when it has been difficult to do so.

Our designs are inspired. We do not respond to trends; we set them. We are dedicated to the teacher / learner interaction. We take every opportunity for our product and company to have a voice, and we take every opportunity for that voice to be expanded upon through the never-ending search and reverence of excellent experience!

In early 2016, we moved from our home near family in Pennsylvania to our new home at the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. From here, it is our goal to continue to build the framework and expand upon the message of PANTHEON, turn more people on to the adventures that skateboard transport can provide, and serve as a beacon for collective enhancement, balance, praise, and gratitude for the human life experience. We are here in form by choice, with clearly defined intent.

Let us rejoice. Grab life by the board and shred it!
